BANANA SNICKERS ICE CREAM 

The best banana snickers ice cream

These are a must-try, because they taste awesome and bananas are good for gut health (more on that below).

Eat as a well-deserved snack or dessert!

INGREDIENTS

2 bananas, cut in half and then sliced length-wise, making four “popsicles”

100 grams dark chocolate

1-2 teaspoons coconut oil

4-5 tbsp peanut butter

Handful of peanuts, coarsely chopped  

METHOD

Place banana slices on baking paper.

In a bowl, add chocolate and coconut oil and heat gently in micro (or in a small pot on the stove).

Using a spoon, spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the bananas. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts.

Place in freezer for a couple of hours and enjoy.

PS Bananas contain fiber which good for gut health because it helps digestion and it’s a great prebiotic food – meaning it helps the good bacteria in your gut flourish.

Also, peanuts help increase gut bacteria diversity which is good for physical and mental well-being.
